Enter the nickname of a Minecraft Java Edition player
What is a UUID?
A UUID (Universally Unique Identifier) is a unique identifier of a Minecraft player that is assigned to an account permanently. Even after a nickname change, the UUID stays the same. Servers use the UUID to store player data: inventory, progress and permissions.
Minecraft Skins
A skin is the character texture that other players see. Every owner of a licensed Minecraft account can upload their skin on the Mojang website or via the launcher. A skin has a resolution of 64×64 pixels and is stored on Mojang's servers.
Name history
Minecraft Java Edition players can change their nickname once every 30 days through a Microsoft account. All previous names are kept in the profile history. This is useful for server administrators who need to identify a player by an old nickname.
How to use it?
Enter the nickname of a Minecraft Java Edition player and click “Search”. You will get the UUID, a skin render, a 3D head, the name history and a link to download the original skin file. The service is free and requires no registration.
